Executive Updates 2013

Beyond Basic Learning; The International School bring families, teachers and the community together through wholesome events. Listed below are some of the events through which we bring families together.

We host our annual Harvest Festival Fundraiser where literacy takes center stage through our classroom theme book by transforming the classrooms to depict the pages from the children’s book.

In the community, we support our neighbor, the Hoboken Museum at the Baby Parade where we are also a major sponsor. Our children frequently visit the Museum to engage in educational lessons as they learn about their community through the different exhibits.
In our classrooms, we enjoy a range of diverse celebrations that are spearheaded by our families. We encourage and love parent participation, which is one of the hallmarks of our program.

Along with the parent-breakfast and other fun filled activities, we consider these events part of how we embrace our families as well as our community.

Parent Participation stronger than ever!

It proves that a strong literacy based program coupled with sound developmental milestones results in competent children that relate, understand, and engage in meaningful experiences. Two of our great achievements this year included a greater immersion of Kings Supermarket and Rite Aid into our curriculum.
